Thank YOU for making FARM FEST 2024 such a success! Over 1000 of our neighbors came out to the farm to celebrate community, dance, tour the farm, share a meal and have some major fun!

Keep your eyes open for the 2025 FARM FEST announcement coming in late December.

The 2024 official FARM FEST Resource Report is:
43.6 pounds of waste headed to the landfill.
30 pounds of recycling going to KC's recycling facilities.
50 pounds of food waste headed to our chickens and compost bins.

We always aim for zero waste. We never achieve it, but the intention carries us in the right direction. Many, MANY THANKS to EVERYONE who did what they could do to conserve resources during FARM FEST and every day. EVERY DAY is EARTH DAY.

Farm Fest at Common Ground is a FREE community event held on-farm at KC Farm School’s 14.5-acre urban farm in KCK. Farm Fest unites our wonderful Kansas City community by offering opportunities to learn about local food, community resources, our environment and ways to mobilize for community action.

How to get to Farm Fest

The address of Common Ground is 2443 S. 42nd Street, KCKS, 66106.

Because FARM FEST is a BLOCK PARTY, the road will be closed between Gibbs and Dodson.
Navigate to Shawnee Drive and South 42nd St. and look for signs directing you to park at a nearby church parking lot or in our dear neighbor Charlie’s field. It's a short walk up the hill to the entrance and we'll have shuttles to help.

Please take a look at the map. It will guide you to FARM FEST.
