Cheesy Mashed Turnips

Ingredients

3 Turnips

3 Tablespoons of Butter

1/8 Cup of Cream Cheese

Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  1. Clean turnips and place in a 2 quart sauce pan.

  2. Fill with enough water to cover the turnips.

  3. Heat pan to a rigorous boil and cook for 15 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat and drain off the water from the turnips.

  5. Mash in butter with potato masher until turnips have a smooth consistency.

  6. Stir in cream cheese, salt and pepper to taste.
