Cheesy Mashed Turnips
Ingredients
3 Turnips
3 Tablespoons of Butter
1/8 Cup of Cream Cheese
Salt & Pepper
Instructions
Clean turnips and place in a 2 quart sauce pan.
Fill with enough water to cover the turnips.
Heat pan to a rigorous boil and cook for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat and drain off the water from the turnips.
Mash in butter with potato masher until turnips have a smooth consistency.
Stir in cream cheese, salt and pepper to taste.
