Volunteer On-Farm, Hands-On

Bringing the community on-farm, hands-on is our mission.
Growing and teaching how to grow food, and then sharing it is what we do.
Our work is fueled by volunteers just like you!

If you want to join in the work, we have the following opportunities availablE

Greenhouse and Field Volunteering:

Work alongside our staff seeding and potting-on in the greenhouse or outdoors prepping beds for spring planting. The task depends on what the farm needs and the weather.

Group Volunteering:

We can accommodate almost any size of group visit. If you are a school or youth group looking to volunteer, please schedule through our field trip page.

Event Volunteering:

Help us welcome our community on-farm for plant sales, workshops, Farm Fest and more!

Skill Sharing:

We welcome volunteers on farm to help with admin support, IT work, tool repair, carpentry, library tending and more.

Got a skill you want to share? Email volunteer@kcfarmschool.org for more information.
