At the center of its community, the farm fosters an environment that transforms both individuals and society
through collaborative and participatory projects.
Our lending libraries—offering books, tools, and hospitality ware—are key to our vision of a circular economy.
By sharing resources, we reduce waste, we promote sustainability, and we make essential materials and resources accessible to all.
These libraries are part of our work to promote community-wide engagement and collective stewardship.
Please join in and share abundance!
Tool Lending Library
We have tools to share! Our tool lending library includes farming-specific tools including some specialty tools and hand tools.
We also have power tools and even a few large pieces of equipment.
If you have been considering purchasing a tool but really only need it once or twice, don’t buy - borrow!

Participation in our tool lending library is membership-based.
Members agree to follow the terms of our Lending Agreement when borrowing tools, and pay what they are able or share time and skills with us to help maintain and grow the library.
Once you’ve completed the membership application, you may schedule an appointment to browse the library or checkout tools.
Tools can be returned without an appointment anytime during our normal hours of operation.
If you would like to visit the library outside of listed appointment times please email carolyn@kcfarmschool.org.
